Holy Gibberish GroupLife!

Reading the Bible would be a lot easier if it weren’t so hard.

Ain’t that true! Take six weeks this January and February with a bunch of others on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings and learn how to turn the Bible’s Holy Gibberish into literature that you understand and speaks to you. A perfect compliment to our Sunday focus on the message of the Book of Isaiah, this overview of some of the most challenging types of passages in the Bible will open a lot of doors and turn on lots of lights for you.

How will this work?

Each week will focus on another type of challenge in the Bible: like understanding miracle stories; the war-like, wrathful God of the Old Testament; or the out-of-date advice in the New Testament letters.

By yourself, with a friend or your GroupLife group pick either Tuesday or Thursday evening from 7:00-8:30 PM (we’re offering it twice each week for your convenience) and come to our office building (38th St & 17th Ave S).

You’ll join a group at a table and Greg Meyer will spend some time showing just how he approaches these challenging readings to not only understand them, but to figure out what to do with them. Then it will be your table group’s turn. You try your hand at a similar passage and then share insights and problems with the rest of the group. By the end of the six weeks you’ll have some great experience with a lot of the stuff the Bible throws at us.

Contact Amy or Melissa with questions and to rsvp with the night that you or your group plan to come.

Ask about the virtual option if you can't make it to the live version.
