Hello all;

Some of you may know Latoya has spent the last couple weeks in the hospital on bed rest.

There has been fluctuations in her blood pressure and kidney output.

Today they determined the placenta had some detachment from the uterus affecting the amount of oxygen the baby was receiving.

They delivered the baby June 26th at 04:08 pm C-section.

Weight:  2lbs 1oz

Length: 14.25 inches

Latoya and the baby are doing well considering the circumstances.

Latoya had a spinal block and was awake during the delivery.

Because of her kidney condition she only gets about a third of the regiment of pain killer meds.

So she is in some pain.

We were allowed to see the baby in the incubator for which he will stay for  some time.

His name John Joseph Van Nest the IV.

The baby is both tiny and yet large for a 2lb 1oz baby.
