Volunteer Opportunities: Be a Tutor/Mentor-Make a difference in a child's life!

Looking to volunteer this fall? Join a wonderful organization, make a contribution, and have some fun at the same time! Project for Pride in Living (PPL)'s mission is to work with families and individuals with lower incomes to achieve greater self-sufficiency through housing, employment training, education and support services.

Our after-school programs in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Richfield are looking for adult and teen mentor/tutors to nurture the fun of learning and support academic growth with students in grades 2-6. Help with homework, do enrichment activities, and play! Mentor a child in our Homework 'n Hoops, Partnership Academy Charter School, or Neighborhood-Based programs. Positions are available weekdays in the late afternoons and evenings, and a commitment of 2 hrs./week through May is requested. Training and ongoing support provided.
