Why Jacob's Well? (Greg Meyer, Longfellow 7/18/10)

We’ve been pretty busy with organizing Sunday services, running an office, keeping kids programs going, starting up a youth ministry, GroupLife and a new location for JW. That stuff is all good. It’s important. It is stuff we are supposed to be doing – but not for its own sake, but because it can make a difference in people’s lives. Because it is those things that are the well that people meet Jesus in and find that they least likely, most undeserving and unexpected places in their lives are filled with God’s presence and therefore are full of hope.
